NYC 2010 Columbus Day Parade
New York city’s 2010 Columbus Day Paradebegins today at 11:30 and runs on 5th avenue from 47th St to 72nd St.

The parade is expected to be watched by millions, either in person or on television, they predict that there will be one million people on the street watching.

This years Grand Marshall is Maria Bartiromo, she is a financial reporter. She is also from Brooklyn.

There will be floats, folk dancers from Italy, old cars, the cast from Pinocchio the Italian musical and much more.

The parade has been around for 66 years and is one of the largest Columbus day celebrations.
